First time I've ever been here and won't be the last. The salt and pepper ribs were very meaty and whilst it's prepared differently to what ive had before it was very tasty. The beef satay was very good with great quality beef and a sauce that actually tastes of nuts. The chips were also very good. I am looking forward to returning.

It is very rare that we eat Chinese food. In fact, the last time we had a Chinese meal was in September 2019. I might add that it wasn't from the Mandarin. After our takeaway from the Mandarin, although we haven't been converted to Chinese food, we would definitely go back when we fancy another Chinese meal. The Manadrin was very clean, with friendly staff and quick service. I had the Singapore Vermicelli. It is described as Spicey & Hot. I didn't find it too spicy or too hot. It was just very tasty. My partner had Duck in Plum Sauce with Chips. There was plenty of duck in the dish, and she found it very tasty. I tried a little of the sauce with some chips and enjoyed it. The price for both dishes came to £15. In todays climate, I suppose the price is comparable with other takeaways that we have had.

Im very new to Leigh and have tried 4 or 5 takeaways and all of them have been disgusting, i was starting to lose hope until someone on fb recommended the Mandarin. Tried their chicken chowmein and crispy won tons tonight and they were absolutely delicious!!! SO happy i finally have found a decent chinese chippy. Will be ordering again and again and again..
